Meet Your Sheep
If you look down at your knit you will see a tag. We call it the Connected Dot. It uses Near Field Communication (NFC) to take you to a far, far field somewhere in New Zealand, perhaps Lake Hawea, where a sheep is roaming about enjoying themselves. This is where the wool from your jumper comes from.
THE CONNECTED DOT | NFC Technology | Made from bio-based EcoPAXX®, from Castor beans | Produced carbon-neutrally | Non-tear removal (but we like to keep ours on) | Sheep inside |
The Connected Dot can also tell you exactly how your individual knit was made, and how much carbon was produced at every step. We started to add them to clothes, to help people connect the dots on where our clothes really come from. We also wanted to make ourselves as transparent as possible, a challenge to keep refining how our knits are made.
Connect the dots
Hover your phone over the top (or scan the QR code), and go on a micro adventure.
Scan your Dot
The tag contains the same NFC technology that our farmers use to keep track of their Flock. Hover any Smartphone over the Dot and you’ll get access to the full story of your knit and you’ll get to meet your sheep.
Name Your Sheep
We connect you with a real sheep on one of the farms that provided the wool for your knit. You’ll even get to name her. Choose wisely.
Follow your sweater
Scanning the dot, also gives you the full details of how, when and by whom your knit was created. To show there is always a story behind the things we wear.
Count your carbon
We breakdown the full CO2 impact of your sweater’s creation. And show how our innovative supply chain approach manages to naturally sequester and save CO2 impact at every stage.
Exclusive Flock Updates
Being part of our Flock means you’ll get updates from the amazing farms we work with. Pulling the wool from what life on farm is really like.
